Canadians who can't figure out where in the world to go to see a film might just find themselves in another galaxy. Cineplex Galaxy Income Fund owns (through a trust) a little more than 75% of Cineplex Entertainment (formerly Cineplex Galaxy), the leading Canadian movie exhibitor, with more than 1,300 screens at some 130 theaters. Cineplex Entertainment operates theaters under the Cineplex Odeon, Galaxy, and Famous Players brands; it also exhibits digital, 3-D, and IMAX projection technologies.
