Lethbridge Curling Club

At the time of its creation, artificial ice had not yet been invented, and games were constantly postponed or cancelled outright. This club is one of the oldest in Alberta, forming before Alberta had even joined the Confederation. By 1950, the club had its own rink and was able to grow its membership. In 2012, with the help of the City of Lethbridge and the Build Canada Fund, the club was able to build a state-of-the-art facility located on the West side of Lethbridge. Since the facility opened in 2016, veteran curlers and beginners have enjoyed their time on the ice and with like-minded community members. For beginners, they have a pro-shop where you can get the curling supplies you need. If you're interested in joining, they have a variety of memberships and leagues. If you would like to host an event, the club offers space for a variety of events all year round. The regular league season is from September to March.
