Below is a list of local U-Picks in and around Lethbridge. These are the perfect places to snag some of the best, fresh-grown berries before the summer ends. Please note that some of these U-Picks are only by appointment, so always call before heading out!

Broxburn Vegetables and Café U-Pick

Broxburn Vegetables & Café is not only a popular local café, but it is also a thriving farm and U-Pick operation that grows and sells organic fruits and vegetables all year long. While they mostly specialize in strawberries, you can also pick raspberries from their fields. Family-owned and operated, Broxburn Vegetables & Café offers a true taste of southern Alberta cuisine and culture.

Bercley Berry Farms U-Pick

Bercley Berry Farms is a U-Pick farm in Bow River, Alberta. This U-Pick specializes in Raspberries, Sour Cherries, and Blackcurrants. Find all sorts of fresh and delicious berries to pop in a pail and take home with you once you’re done picking and paying!

R&S Farms U-Pick

R&S Farms, which could easily stand for “Really Sweet,” is a U-Pick experience unlike any other in Coaldale. This U-Pick offers fields of Strawberries, Saskatoon Berries, Cherries, Raspberries, Squash, Snow Peas, and more. With a wide selection like that, you could make a whole meal with your pickings! Room to Grow U-Pick

Room to Grow is a U-Pick and family-run farm just outside Lethbridge. This U-Pick specializes in Saskatoon Berries and Strawberries. It also carries other produce for purchase in the greenhouse and canned goods.

Berg’s Berries U-Pick

Berg’s Berries is a U-Pick operation located in Magrath. This is a family-owned farm and U-Pick operation just off Highway 5. This U-Pick grows Saskatoon Berries, Raspberries, and Strawberries. Due to the colder spring in Southern Alberta this year, this U-Pick is finished picking for the season after July 26th. Don’t miss your chance next year when the Saskatoon berries bloom again!

Hazy Hollow Acres U-Pick

Hazy Hollow Acres U-Pick specializes in strawberries in the summer and berries in the fall, as well as a small vegetable patch you can pick from. The U-Pick starts with their delicious early-season strawberries in June, with the extensive U-Pick operations kicking into high gear in August. This U-Pick is by appointment only, so call ahead!

Heathers 2 Hectares

Heathers 2 Hectares is a Saskatoon Berry U-Pick outside Raymond in Southern Alberta. The U-Pick is by appointment only, so call ahead to get your pick on! That said, due to the cold spring in Southern Alberta, the Saskatoon U-pick Season has been short but sweet! While they may not have much to Pick, they still offer other great fresh produce options!

The Lilac Row

If you aren’t looking to fill your basket with something to eat but rather something to admire, look no further than the Lilac Row! The Lilac Row is the number one spot in and around Lethbridge for a one-of-a-kind flower U-Pick experience. Find armfuls of beautiful and fragrant flowers lining the land of the Lilac Row! This is the perfect stop on any adventure for a photo op and some fresh-picked flowers to take home!
