Students who return this punch card to the downtown BRZ — regardless of how many businesses you visit — will be entered in to win a prize draw from Downtown Lethbridge!
Galt Museum and Archives
The history of Lethbridge and southwestern Alberta can be explored through the Galt's rotating world-class exhibits, special events, and school and community programs. The Galt Museum Store offers visitors a selection of historical publications and other unique local and retro gifts. Volunteers donate their time and talents to enhance the work of museum staff.
Helen Schuler Nature Centre
Snuggled between coulees and a sprawling 200-acre nature preserve, Helen Schuler Nature Centre is located directly beneath the iconic High-Level Bridge. A stone’s throw away from downtown, Helen Schuler is a great spot for a midday escape to a quiet slice of untouched nature.
Southern Alberta Art Gallery
Specializing in conceptual and installation art, the Southern Alberta Art Gallery offers a fresh perspective on the southern Albertan experience.
Recently named Maansiksikaitsitapiitsinikssin in Blackfoot, SAAG exhibits some of the most compelling contemporary art from around the region and across the country. It’s housed in the historic Lethbridge Library and hosts up to two rotating shows in its larger gallery rooms. There’s also an art library and gift shop open year-round near the front entrance.
Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden
Slip into the serenity of this enchanting Japanese garden and enjoy the wonders a multicultural friendship can bring.
Designed by revered landscape architects from Osaka Prefecture University, Nikka Yuko unites traditional Japanese garden landscapes with greenery native to Southern Alberta. Wander along intricate pathways and discover unique sculptures and architecture – each made in Kyoto by local artisans, then shipped to Lethbridge.
Whether you choose to relax with an ocha (green tea) or join in one of the many matsuri (festivals) happening year-round, the garden has something for everyone!
