The 2023 Lethbridge International Airshow is About to Take Off!

The Lethbridge International Airshow is one of the biggest events in Lethbridge every year. Huge planes, incredible stunts, and a day full of beautiful summer sun make it no mystery why the Lethbridge International Airshow attracts over 10,000 people every year! This year is set to be no exception with an incredible lineup of events and attractions during the two-day run of the airshow. There’s more than enough fun here for professional pilots and aviation appreciators alike to enjoy.

Aerial Performances

The Lethbridge International Airshow wouldn’t be an airshow at all without incredible aerial performances throughout it! Those attending the airshow will be treated to stunt performances from some of the greatest pilots in all of Canada! The selection of A-list pilots includes: Jerry Conley, Mike Tryggvason, Yellow Thunder, Brad Wursten, Carol Pilon, and many more!

Spectacular aircrafts will also be making appearances at the airshow throughout the weekend, including: Red Thunder, the JSX003, the MX2 Aircraft, Sailcrafts, The Harvard, and many more! For the full list of aircrafts and performers, click the learn more button below!

Monster Truck Rides

If you prefer to be a part of the action on the ground at the Lethbridge International Airshow, look no further than the monster truck rides! Featuring the 'AREA 51 North' monster truck, kids can hop in for a high-octane ride filled with out-of-this-world excitement!

Precision Exotics

If you still want the thrill of traveling on land but would prefer riding in a sleek sports car, then Precision Exotics is here to help kick the fun into high gear at the Lethbridge International Airshow. The “Quick Drive” option gives you a taste of the euphoria that driving on the open road in one of these exotic machines brings, where as the “Precision Extreme Drive” allows passengers to experience the feeling of flying down the road and pushing past 160 MPH of speed.

Kid Land

Something at the Lethbridge International Airshow for the little pilots in your life is Kid Land, which has been ramped up this year to be better than ever! Kid Land will feature: face painting, bouncy castles, a photo booth, bubbles, sparkle tattoos, and even more. There is sure to be enough in Kid Land to keep all the little ones busy at the Lethbridge International Airshow! Please note, children must be supervised by a guardian at all times.

Beer Gardens

While the Kids have their land, the parents have their own Beer Gardens! The Beer Gardens will feature a selection of beers, coolers, and spirits, provided by the Guided Journeys Foundation with materials supplied by Accurate Coring and Cutting. Be sure to drink responsibly and enjoy the Lethbridge International Airshow!

Pancake Breakfast

If a beer garden isn’t of interest to you, then you might be more interested in the pancake breakfast that will be available both mornings of the Lethbridge International Airshow. The Pancake Breakfast includes eggs, sausage, and pancakes and will be served from 9 AM to 10:30 AM both mornings. The pancake breakfast is being provided by Guided Journeys Foundation with supplies provided by Accurate Coring and Cutting.

Artisan Market

The Lethbridge International Airshow will also be hosting a local artisan market on their grounds both days of the airshow. The market will be put on by the Three Sisters Market, which has hosted many incredible and successful markets in the area in the past. The Three Sister Markets always have a strong focus on local, handmade, artisan products. No matter what you’re in the market for, there’s sure to be something incredible and local at the Lethbridge International Airshow!

Traditional Blackfoot Dancers

On Sunday, July 30th, the Lethbridge International Airshow will be hosting a performance by Traditional Blackfoot Dancers. The performance will be at 10:30 AM and offers airshow attendants a chance to experience authentic Indigenous Culture in Southern Alberta without having to leave the airshow! Don’t miss this incredible cultural experience at the Lethbridge International Airshow!

Taiko Drumming

On Saturday, July 29th, The Lethbridge International Airshow will be hosting two performances of taiko drumming at 9:30 and 11:30 AM. Enjoy the lively and enchanting drumming from Lethbridge Community Taiko, a local taiko performing group! Don’t miss this incredible cultural performance at the Lethbridge International Airshow!
