Telegraph Taphouse

Built to house Lethbridge’s original telegraph office, the old telegraph building has been home to connections since 1937. It connected WWII soldiers with loved ones at home and connected businesses with the outside world.

The building now houses Telegraph Taphouse, featuring a cross-cultural menu with locally-sourced ingredients and craft beers and whiskeys worldwide.

Telegraph is also a huge supporter of our rural producers, with ingredients from outside of city limits made by local producers in almost every dish! whether its local beef from benchmark Angus, or delicious cheese from crystal springs, its in the recipe for the food at Telegraph Taphouse! If you're outside of town though, cattleman's chophouse is owned and managed by the same person, and boast the same level of fresh local ingredients.

Water Tower Grill & Bar

Perched high in the sky above Lethbridge, the Water Tower Grill and Bar offers a one-of-a-kind, panoramic view of the city – and front-row seats to southern Alberta’s brilliant prairie sunsets. Along with the view, they serve internationally inspired, casual cuisine made from local ingredients in a fun, stylish atmosphere.

From hand-crafted drinks at Cocktail Hour to a romantic evening out or a relaxed lunch with the family, the Water Tower is your home for food, drinks, and a view unlike anywhere else in the city.

Herbal Apothecary

Tony and Cami first started their business back in the spring of 2020. As a result of the pandemic, they had recently lost their jobs and needed to make lemonade out of lemons! It all started with microgreens. Cami and Tony bought microgreen seeds online, seeded a few trays in their living room, made up a brochure and started pounding the pavement.

In addition to growing microgreens, they've also grown their space; Cami and Tony soon came up with some new product lines, including herbal teas, wellness soaps and finishing salts; all of which included microgreens or mushrooms! Come summertime, they decided to get a booth at farmer’s markets and handed out samples like crazy. As such, Herbal Apothecary was born.

Spectrum Ale Works

Spectrum Ale Works is a microbrewery committed to producing quality craft beer using the best ingredients. They brew fresh, friendly beer handcrafted by true beer lovers. Owner Darrell Harris had been homebrewing for over 20 years before his wife opened their taproom.

with such a wide "Spectrum" of a selection of classic to creative brews, its no wonder the are part of the Highway 3 Ale Trail! Their commitment is to please the palate of both the beer novice and the connoisseur. They have a vast selection of core beers (including an ESB and a Hybrid IPA) and rotating seasonal, so there is always a beer for every palate. You won’t find your typical taproom snacks here - try some spring rolls or samosas to pair with your beer.

Theoretically Brewing

Theoretically Brewing Co. is the brainchild of co-owners Kel Baird and Kris Fischer; focused on locally sourced, sustainably-produced beer. This duo and their team of miscreant brewers embarked on opening a brewery in 2015.

Kel, the resident beer historian, is often found at the brewery and other community events, sharing her in-depth knowledge of brewing processes, chemistry and microbiology. Brewmaster Kris works at the University of Lethbridge as a Chemistry Instructor, teaching the upcoming generations of (potentially-beer-brewing?) chemists; or behind the scenes at the brewery working on concocting new flavours.

Theoretically brewing has been putting lethbridge brews on the map, including putting themselves on the map of the Highway 3 Ale Trail! Not to mention,Theoretically Brewing is becoming one of the first solar-powered breweries in Alberta. Theoretically Brewing is actively working towards building a zero-waste facility.
