On June 8th we're launching a two-month campaign to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Explore Lethbridge App! But what does this mean for you? Soak up the Summer Sun
Visit one of Lethbridge's Golf Courses
With weather this nice, it's a crime to stay indoors. So why not gather some friends and hit the green? Lethbridge has five golf courses to choose from, each with their own unique features and challenges. For a beautiful view of our bridge try out the Bridge Valley course, and if you want a longer and more challenging round, head over to the Henderson Lake course! With our city's sunny skies and beautiful weather, playing a game of golf is a must this June!

Local Hikes
Lethbridge has over 280km of trails throughout the city. Visit a nature reserve like Elizabeth Hall Wetlands for a beautiful escape into nature, and be sure to check out coulee trails like the Bull Trail Park loop if you're looking to add a little difficulty. But our biggest tip? You'll want to keep your eyes open and watch for all the wildlife that call our local parks and river valley home.

Major Events in Lethbridge this June
Nature Play Fest
June 13th
Join the Helen Schuler Nature Centre for their annual Nature Play Fest event at Henderson Lake Park! This family-centred event runs from 12:00pm to 4:00pm is perfect for kids of all ages looking for an afternoon of fun. With a broad range of activities, there's something for everyone. And what's even better? It's completely free!

Pride Parade and Pride Fest
June 20th
Each June, Lethbridge hosts a Pride Parade and Pride Festival at Galt Gardens downtown. This event is an explosion of colour, joy, and acceptance for all. Both events begin at 11:00am, with the parade wrapping up at 1:00pm and the festival continuing all the way until 5:00pm. Visit for beautifully crafted floats, an outdoor market, and performances by local musicians, dancers, and drag queens!

Dragon Boat Festival
June 26th to 28th
The Dragon Boat Festival is one weekend you won't want to miss. As one of the biggest events of the year, this festival brings live performances, food trucks, and outdoor markets to Henderson Lake Park. And this isn't even mentioning the main event: the racing! Throughout the weekend watch teams from across Western Canada race to qualify for larger national and international circuits.

Foodie Fest
June 30th
Foodie fest is where all of our foodie dreams come true! Visit Festival Square between 12:00pm and 8:00pm to enjoy the creations of local food trucks or try free samples at select local restaurants downtown. This event is free to attend, but we highly encourage you to check out some shops downtown while visiting. Alongside restaurants offering free samples, many boutiques are extending their hours for late night shopping! It's the perfect opportunity to explore downtown Lethbridge!
