Our chinook winds mean the weather is never too cold, but we've got more than enough indoor activities for those looking to stay extra toasty in their explorations. Winter Lights Festival @ Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden

November 29th to February 28th

Running all the way into February, the Winter Lights Festival is more than a Christmas special. With over 150,000 lights strung up around the garden, skillfully crafted ice sculptures, and more than enough hot cocoa to go around, the Winter Lights Festival is an event for all ages. Its breathtaking beauty will leave a mark on any who step through the garden gates.

Go Skating in Festival Square

Open all winter (weather permitting)

Nothing completes a day of downtown exploration like a round or two of public skating. Located in festival square, this public rink is open to all ages at all hours! As long as the weather is cold enough to freeze, you're more than welcome to strap on the skates and test your skills!

Golden Girls – The Laughs Continue
