Legacy Skatepark (North Lethbridge)
A favourite among locals, Legacy Skatepark is a polished, family‑friendly plaza designed by New Line Skateparks. It features a combi pool, manny pad, stairs, rails, banks, hips, transition features, and perfect flow lines — making it an all-in-one spot for varied skating styles.
Set within the expansive Legacy Regional Park (73 acres) on the north side of Lethbridge, it’s surrounded by restrooms, playgrounds, water spray areas, parking, and families enjoying the day. It’s the go-to for consistency, accessibility, and community vibes.
Watermark Skatepark
Located in West Lethbridge’s Watermark community, Watermark Skatepark is part of a vibrant, all-ages recreational hub that promotes healthy and active living. This plaza-style skatepark is perfect for street skaters with its long ledges, crisp handrails, smooth transitions, and one of the best hips in the city. Its clean layout and creative lines make it a great spot to link tricks or work on technical progression.
The skatepark is just one of several features in Watermark Park, which also includes a BMX pump track, sports fields, outdoor fitness equipment, a playground, and the adjacent Senator Joyce Fairbairn Middle School. With wide-open green space and accessible design, the park is geared toward skaters of all ages and abilities. While there are no washrooms on-site, the park is well-lit until around 11 PM, making it ideal for evening sessions in a laid-back, community-oriented setting.
Wade Galloway Skate Park
This modern concrete facility offers a friendly mix of street and transition features—open-ended bowl, mini-ramp, hips, ledges, rails, and banks—all in a compact ~10,000 sq ft layout. The park sits beside Spitz Stadium and Henderson Lake Park, making it centrally located and community oriented.
Open until ~11 PM with nearby amenities, it’s accessible and well-suited to all ages. Renamed in 2023 in honour of community advocate Wade Galloway, it’s now a vibrant local hub for riders of every preference.
