Wade Galloway Skate Park

Wade Galloway Skate Park is a thoughtfully crafted, approximately 10,000 sq ft concrete facility located near Mayor Magrath Drive South and Parkside Drive. It offers a mix of street-style elements—including banks, hips, slappy edges, rails, ledges, a mini-ramp, and a flowing bowl area—designed to cater to riders of all skill levels. Opened in 2014 and illuminated for evening sessions, the park provides a free and accessible space where skateboarders, BMX riders, scooter users, and inline skaters can gather, practice, and connect.

In 2023, the park was renamed in honor of former city councillor Wade Galloway, recognizing his dedication and advocacy for local skateboarding. Supported by the Wade Galloway Legacy Foundation, ongoing sponsorship ensures regular maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements. The park has since become a vibrant hub in Lethbridge’s skate community—serving as a year‑round outdoor destination where riders can meet, challenge themselves, and celebrate their sport.
