Now you may be wondering, “what in the world is this?” But don’t worry, we’re here to clear up the confusion. Our app is an amazing initiative that gets you out exploring the city, discovering hidden gems, and best of all? Earning prizes! To get started, just type ExploreLethbridge.app into your preferred browser!

Background

While we label this initiative an app, it’s a web-based one. So if you have no space or simply don't want to download anything, don't worry. You can access all the features from the comfort of your favourite web browser, be it Google, Safari, or Microsoft Edge—we don’t judge! For your convenience, however, you can also add the Explore Lethbridge App icon to your home screen. Simply follow the instructions that pop up each time you load the page.

But what is the Explore Lethbridge App? Put simply, it’s a way to explore the city, earn points, and receive prizes! Once you create an account, you’ll have access to our catalogue of experiences. These experiences can be thought of as self-guided tours. Each has a theme and several locations that act as tour stops. You can visit as many (or as few) locations as you wish, making your exploration fully customizable!

What to Do

We’ve streamlined our process to make your exploration as easy as possible. When you arrive at a location, you’ll be able to check in via geolocation. Most stops are worth about 10 points, which will be awarded to your account upon check-in. Your points will quickly add up, and when you gather some, check out our prizes page to see all the cool things you can exchange them for!

Make sure to explore your chosen location while you're there. Many offer unique products or experiences that have never been seen before or can only be found in Lethbridge!

Prizes

Tourism Lethbridge offers a variety of prizes, with everything from posters designed by local artists to themed swag. To redeem your points, all you have to do is add your prize to cart and checkout. Once you’ve done this, your prize will be available for pick-up at the Visitor Information Center on the corner of Mayor Magrath and Scenic Dr. Our amazing staff will get you all sorted out!
