Nothing says winter like sledding, snowball fights, and snowman-making. Lethbridge maintains over 130 parks and natural areas around the city, each offering their own unique winter advantage. For those seeking the perfect sledding hill, we recommend checking out the sugar bowl—it's the most popular hill in the city for a reason. For winter walks and snowman-building competitions, you can't go wrong with a trip to Henderson Lake.

Local Events

The Birds and The Bees

February 12th to 21st

New West Theatre is one of our favourite local theatre groups, and this February they're bringing their latest production to the Yates Memorial Theatre. The Birds and The Bees is a hilarious Canadian comedy following a mother and her adult daughter as they navigate love, life, and second chances. The talent of these actors will suck you into the story, ensuring you leave the theatre with more smile lines than you walked in with.
