Theatre Outré

Theatre Outre was formed in 2013 and has valued queer stories and art since. This theater group has strived to produce art that is subversive and alternative from mainstream theatre. Their aim is to create awareness and make space for 2SLGBTQ+ artists. Events range from comedy shows, drag events, poetry slams, and productions that showcase queer art and history. These events are held at a variety of spaces in Lethbridge, allowing the groups creativity to shine through. They aim to ensure queer artists in Southern Alberta have a space to express themselves and tell their stories to audiences that can either relate or are looking to learn.
