Sterndale Bennett Theatre
This facility has held a variety of performances in the Lethbridge community. The space is also available for rent for other events and performances. The Sterndale Bennett Theatre was a newer addition to the Genevieve Yates Memorial Centre in 1990. The theatre was named for Ernest and Sterndale Bennett who were known for their local amateur theatre endeavors and later earned national reputations for their work in theatre. The theatre was originally meant as a rehearsal space for Yates performers however the growing demand for more performance spaces led to its renovation into the studio we know and enjoy today. Both spaces are monuments to the art and culture in Lethbridge where performers and viewers alike can enjoy the arts that Lethbridge has to offer.
