
Sik-ooh-kotoki Friendship Society
The Sik-ooh-kotoki Friendship Society is an important part of the Lethbridge community. They are also the longest standing indigenous organisation in Lethbridge. Their work ensures an improved quality of life for Indigenous people within the city of Lethbridge as well as education for those looking to learn about Indigenous culture. They have a variety of programs to improve quality of life and cultural connection. These include Blackfoot language lessons, skirt making, moccasin making, and other creative outlets such as film and music. Their programs for health and wellness include basketball, boxing, and hiking. The Sik-ooh-kotoki Friendship Society has done great work in Lethbridge for the Indigenous community and culture.
