Elizabeth Hall Wetlands
Nestled between the Oldman River and the Bridge Valley Golf Course, Elizabeth Hall Wetlands is a 32 hectare preservation area that offers paved and gravel pathways lined with information kiosks and scenic viewing platforms. This easy, self-guided loop winds through diverse habitats—wetlands, cottonwood forests, and an oxbow pond—providing excellent opportunities for birdwatching, wildlife spotting, and photography. Visitors often see ducks, geese, raptors, songbirds, muskrats, beavers, turtles, and other native species. A floating dock and wildlife-viewing blind enhance the experience, offering up-close encounters with nature. It’s a must-visit escape for a short urban nature retreat.
