Event Calendar Submissions Rules and Regulations

With our new website, we have some changes to the Events Calendar. 

Please submit your event here — Tourism Lethbridge Event Submission

If you'd like to have your Event added to our Facebook Page Calendar, Please follow the directions below:

  • Your event must be on your group or organization’s Facebook Page.

  • Please send us the link to the event on your organization's Facebook Page to [email protected].

Monthly Newsletters:

  • We must have your event at least one week before the newsletter is sent out to be included in the newsletter.

  • Newsletters are sent out the last week of the previous month.

    • ex April’s Newsletter is sent out the last week of March (around the 25 – 30 of each month).

  • Events must have a link to your own website or an external link to the event for contact information.

  • The monthly blog can be updated throughout the month but will still require an external link for contact information.

We will only list events on our website/Facebook page/newsletter if they meet the following criteria: 

  • Must be put on by a Lethbridge organization or take place in Lethbridge. 

  • Must be an event that a tourist/visitor could participate in:

  • Drop-in 

  • One time event 

    • Concerts 

    • Sporting events 

    • Festivals 

    • Markets

    • Seminars 

    • or similar

  • Tourism Lethbridge has no political or religious affiliation; thus, we will not be promoting events of this nature.

  • Tourism Lethbridge does not support or condone any events that promote violence or violence against another group or life. 

  • We cannot promote multi-week events or longer courses (more than a weekend) that require advance sign-up.

  • Private events and functions (i.e. member-only/ membership required) will not be promoted on our website or Facebook page. 

  • Tourism Lethbridge does not support events that promote dangerous acts or events that could lead to bodily harm to the participants. 

    • Binge Drinking 

    • Fighting 

Our event page includes links to external community events calendars. This way, site visitors can find more specialized events that may not be applicable to our calendar.
