Explore Downtown Lethbridge and discover beautifully painted windows by Another Pretty Face. Get in the winter spirit as you view winter wonderland windows and get excited for the brier with the winter sports window! Don't forget to grab a gourmet hot chocolate from a local cafe competing in the Hot Chocolate Contest to keep you warm while you wander!

Hot Chocolate Contest

All week long — Free samples Saturday, January 15, 2022

This year 7 elite competitors have signed up to see who will be voted the best hot chocolate in Lethbridge! They have come up with their best, their fanciest and their tastiest hot chocolate to your tickle taste buds and win your vote! Every day during YQL WinterFEST 2022 you can go buy a delicious hot chocolate to see who will win your vote. On Saturday, January 15, 2022, you can try them all as the competitors hand out free samples at their stores! Learn more about the hot chocolates down below. Don't forget to grab a hot chocolate to keep you warm before you explore all the other amazing activities happening!

Karen Romanchuk is a Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, folk, blues and country music singer and songwriter. Influenced by Steve Earle and Lucinda Williams, her songwriting has developed into her own unique sound. She travelled the road with a cover band..now performs her own songs with passion and her only hope is to touch someone with her music.

ADEQUATE!

ADEQUATE! is a funk power trio from Lethbridge Alberta focussed on providing an excellent musical experience through high-quality showmanship and musical skill. Pulling you in with raw musicianship, tantalizing dance moves, mesmerizing lights, and high energy hi-jinx, ADEQUATE! is sure a smile on your face and some dance in your pants. Focusing on the fundamentals that made our funk idols' live shows so great, ADEQUATE! aims to be a source of entertainment for anyone listening. With the recent release of their debut album, ADEQUATE! is excited to add a layer of original material to their extensive catalogue of cover hits.

Check out these local and regional exhibitor businesses and learn about all their winter activities! From the Winter Light Festival at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden to the 2022 Tim Hortons Brier there is something for everyone to discover! Restriction Exemption Program is in place at CASA. Don't forget to stay for the outdoor concert at 2 PM in Rotary Square and listen to some great music! During the day we will be giving away prizes.

Saturday, January 15th —11:30 AM and 2 PM — Galt Gardens

Join the Be Fit for Life Centre for snowshoeing in Galt Gardens! On January 15 Be the Fit for Life Centre will be offering 2 – 30 minute free snowshoeing sessions for the public — Prepare for the outdoors and get ready to try something new! Please meet at the East side of the Galt Gardens North of the spray park area across from CASA.
