After two long years without any official in-person celebrations for Canada Day, Lethbridge is overjoyed to bring back in person Canada Day festivities! No matter where in the city you are, there is likely to be something you can do to celebrate our incredible country! Galt Gardens and Henderson Lake Park will host some great activities in the city on Canada Day.
Henderson Lake Park
Henderson Lake Park has been the place to go for Canada Day celebrations for decades now. With huge open space for all sorts of celebrations, it’s no wonder most locals swarm to the lake to get together and celebrate our home country!
Henderson Lake Fireworks
End the big day off with a bang by watching fireworks at Henderson lake park. Every year after 11 PM, the city puts on a lively display of lights and colours with their Henderson Lake firework show. The only thing that stops this beloved tradition is the weather, so let’s hope for some clear skies!
Henderson Lake Mainstage
Henderson Lake Mainstage has incredible local performers who come from all over the city to entertain the city at the Henderson Lake celebrations. This year, the Lethbridge Allied Arts Council has partnered with the City of Lethbridge to create an incredible lineup of local performers. Performances will be held throughout the whole day from 11 AM until the fireworks show at 11 PM. Make sure to stop by the main stage on Canada Day to glimpse the actions.
