Jasmine Sangria — CEO
Multilingual in three languages, Jasmine has lived in North America and Asia – cultural experiences that have influenced and shaped her work in Strategic Marketing and Business Development. Jasmine’s educational background includes an undergrad in Applied Design and a graduate degree in Business Administration. In her spare time, Jasmine is an avid artist and devoted dog mom to Buffy the Husky.
Jackie Stambene — Director of Visitor Services
Jackie hails from Edmonton, Alberta and has 25+ years in non-profit fundraising, event and festival planning and management. She received her Bachelor of Physical Education and Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary and is currently working on her Project Management certificate. Jackie, her husband and their furry boy enjoy camping in the summer and exploring the mountains and southern Alberta. Jackie has been working for Tourism Lethbridge since it opened its doors in May of 2018.
Stephen Braund — Director of Marketing
Stephen has worked in travel, education, communications and marketing for the past 20 years. With fond memories of hiking in the coulees, hoodoos and mountains as a child, he is excited to bring more travellers to this incredible area. Stephen has been working for Tourism Lethbridge since it opened its doors in May of 2018. Apparently, Stephen is the only dogless team member.
Emma Burnard — Social Media and Digital Specialist
Emma is a recent graduate from Vancouver Island University with a Degree in Tourism Management. She joined the Tourism Lethbridge team in February 2020. With her passion for the tourism industry, she loves helping people discover new places or places they might have once overlooked.
Jarom Scott — Visual Communications Specialist
Jarom loves working in the tourism industry. He cherishes opportunities to travel and has lived in Canada, U.S.A., France and Switzerland. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Visual Communications and Design. Outside of work at Tourism Lethbridge, Jarom is busy with his family, sports and visual arts. His paintings and drawings can be seen at jaromscott.com
Matthis Bruelheyde — Visitor Services Specialist
Matthis has always enjoyed travelling and his most dramatic trip has been the move from Germany, where he was born, to Canada. In between, he has travelled extensively in Europe and North America. He has been a part of the amazing Tourism Lethbridge team since 2019. When he’s not telling others about what to see in the area, you’ll probably find him skiing in Southern Alberta.
Amelia Stevenson — Executive Assistant
Amelia recently completed her Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Sport and Tourism from the University of Alberta. Now, she’s looking forward to applying her knowledge in a practical way with Tourism Lethbridge! She is looking forward to exploring this incredible area with her dog Mia.
